Year End Note to Self

"If you could write a note to the you from a year ago to prepare you for the year ahead...what would you say?"

Dear Remarkable Woman,

You will learn more in the coming year than you ever have. Be discerning about letting go versus never giving up. These may be the hardest lessons to learn, but trust that doing so will make sense at the right time and for the right reasons.

Buy lots of tissues. But don't be afraid. Love anyway. Love yourself. Be fearless. You can't count the ways, but you will hear that your strength inspires- still, be surprised by this, and more than that, be grateful. 

Your mom is awesome and wise and funny, so call her whenever you need.

Smile more. Be both gentle and generous, but don't forget your own voice. Pray. When in doubt, wear the leather.

As for ringing in 2015, I can't tell you any differently than to just be honest and do what you love the most. I know you're concerned, but you needn't be (You tend to be too sentimental!). There is so much more in store for you than you can possibly imagine.

Finally, this year you will learn to love with your whole heart, so keep it open; be patient, be kind, see the best in people.

Everything else...you'll figure it out.
