The other night, I found myself sitting next to an actor/director explaining the most brutal play he'd ever seen, and as he wrapped up his synopsis, he said, "The point being, there's redemption for anything."

I have always believed this.

The Bible is clear about the hope that all things will be made new-- though it seems, more along the lines of those unseen, eternal things. But what about us, our stories, our daily trials and temptations?

We find ourselves wondering what this will look like. Usually, redemption, like justice, doesn't roll out the way we think it will.

I believe that while healing takes place over the course of time, redemption can happen in a moment, or in a single conversation. But, you have to be brave enough to have the conversation, and then you'll probably have to sow into it some mercy.

Do you have a redemption story? I'd love to hear it!
